Earn Money Quick – Sell Your Junk on eBay

If you ever need to earn money quick in order to pay a bill or something similar. I want you to read this entire article as I share how I raised an extra $2657 in just one month.

Being a responsible parent I am extremely careful with my money. The long and short of it is that I want to take care of my family to the best of my ability. This means being able to pay all the bills on time and of course buy my kids exactly what they need when they need it.

That is why I felt so stressed out earlier this year when I hit what seemed to be a huge crisis when my car failed and some other bills came in that I was not expecting. During this economic downturn I can imagine that many of your reading this can relate to my plight. Suddenly and out of nowhere it seemed that I had to find a couple of thousand dollars immediately.

Well work is kind of tough these days, so getting extra shifts was not an option. I even considered taking on an extra job but realised that given my current working patterns it was not really going to be viable.

However speaking to a friend sparked a very profitable buy brics money   solution which I want to share with you. My friend is an avid collector of what I consider to be junk. The fact is she trawls second hand stores looking for small items that she can sell on eBay for a small profit. It was only after pressing her that I discovered that this little below the radar business of hers was turning over a few grand every single month. She explained that all you do is open a free account on eBay and then place small items such as ornaments, lamps, DVDs and what we in the UK call bric-a-brac on there for sale. She also encouraged me to photograph and write a really nice description for each item, guaranteeing that if done well the orders would roll in and we would certainly make money quick.

With nothing to lose I quickly looked at the clutter in my own home (if you have kids and a family home you tend to build up a lot of stuff) and chose a ton of items which I began to sell. My eldest son is a photography student so we have a great camera and where really able to get some good shots. In fact what we did was lay a white sheet against a white wall creating a really clean background. With the help of my partner we wrote great descriptions (at least a paragraph per item). Finally we uploaded everything on to my long standing but dormant eBay account. The only time I had used my account previously was to buy stuff so this was different. However eBay is full of tutorials and help screens that made the process easy.

We where amazed at how we where able to earn money quick as the orders literally poured in. We managed to sell over 300 items including small toys, books, CDs and ornaments. There where some big items like my daughters Wendy House and some bikes that bought in some really nice amounts of cash. Our final total after paying eBay fees was $2657.

As a result my car is fixed and all my bills are paid. By the way I now run my own eBay business and am planning to go full time in the next 12 months.
